The RespondComm team uses EDX Wireless SignalPro propagation modeling tools for prediction of coverage area and design of the WiMAX network. SignalPro allows every parameter of the radio frequency network components to be modeled. SignalPro uses various external databases to obtain an accurate representation of the physical environment including;

• topology (coordinates, elevation)
  
  
• morphology (land use, clutter)
  
  
• vector data (roads, boundaries, etc.)

Once the network is deployed, actual field measurements can be loaded into the SignalPro software to further refine the model for future deployments or extensions to the network.
